What was the project?
Clean + Simple was engaged by Coronation Property to deliver the full construction cleaning program for The Foundry — a landmark 17-storey residential building and the final release within the award-winning Paper Mill mixed-use precinct in Liverpool, Western Sydney.
Designed by SJB Architects, the development comprises 200 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments arranged around a landscaped atrium, with a 1,200m² rooftop garden and infinity pool overlooking the Georges River.
Our engagement covered the complete end-to-end cleaning process required to bring the building from construction completion through to resident handover.
What did the scope cover?
The program ran in four stages: a full builders clean across every apartment and common area, a detailed pre-handover clean to presentation standard, a final handover pass against the quality benchmark, and the external and amenity spaces including the rooftop deck.
What made it demanding?
Handover programs leave no room to catch up. Apartments become available in stages as trades finish, settlement dates are fixed, and every apartment has to reach the same standard no matter where it sits in the sequence. Rather than cleaning the whole building once at the end, we staged our crew against the build program — that’s what made the timeline achievable.
